Workshops on muscle-propelled haptics: hacking health, games and art

Workshops that take Muscle-propelled and my research on muscle interfaces for input and output to different communities.
Hacking Health Berlin 2014
With our workshop «Let’s get physical» we invited doctors, nurses, med-students, designers & developers to learn about basic electronic prototyping. With these skills they transformed early ideas into tangible prototypes: using muscle interfaces to communicate with the digital world.

Muscle Propelled Games and VR at iGAM4ER 2014
Participants are invited to hack control own muscles using force feedback, taking games to a complete new physical dimension. We will do this by first building our own muscle propelled force feedback units, with arduinos and electrical stimulators. Step by step advice will be given by Pedro throughout the workshop to create safe and fun devices that provide force feedback for participants’ wildest game concepts! Participants will then create games that go beyond traditional concepts, and become physical in the sense that reflect onto the player’s muscles, here’s an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swmGaGT8lvs
